Why Social License Matters For New Nuclear

Dr. Lovering co-founded the Good Energy Collective, an organization building the progressive case for nuclear energy as an essential part of the broader climate change agenda and working to align the clean energy space with environmental justice and sustainability goals. She is currently a Senior Visiting Fellow with the Fastest Path to Zero Initiative at the University of Michigan. In this talk, Dr. Lovering will pull from case studies of renewable and nuclear technologies to illustrate best practices for community engagement and environmental justice.
